Light Up the Park!

A New Holiday Tradition for Houston

The Houston Astros are celebrating the season with a brand new holiday experience called Astros Light Up the Park. The event transforms Daikin Park into a glowing winter display filled with lights, music, and family activities. It runs from November 22, 2025 through January 4, 2026 and invites visitors to explore the ballpark in a completely new way.

What Visitors Can Expect

The event features a long walk through the concourse and behind-the-scenes areas that normally are not open to the public. The path eventually opens onto the field where guests can enjoy an impressive collection of displays and photo spots. More than 500,000 lights and over 200 themed installations give the ballpark a magical appearance from the moment guests enter.

Families can take photos with Santa in the home bullpen, meet Orbit on select evenings, and enjoy activities that include face painting, cookie decorating, and sending letters to Santa. Seasonal treats and warm drinks are available at concession stands throughout the park.

Light Up the Park also includes themed nights that add even more character to the experience. Military Appreciation Night takes place on December 3. Ugly Sweater Night is scheduled for December 6. Date Night and Family Movie Night each feature holiday film screenings. Pajama Night offers a relaxed and cozy way to enjoy the lights on December 23.

Tickets are available now and prices vary depending on the date and entry time. A typical visit lasts about one hour, although guests are free to move at their own pace.
